Who we are

Labour Office is a government agency supporting people of working age from welfare into work, and helping employers to fill their vacancies. 

Voivodeship Labour Office in Białystok is the key institution implementing and coordinating regional labour market policy on behalf of regional authorities. We initiate and support effective solutions promoting and stimulating development of labour market in the PodlaskieVoivodeship.

Our main activities are systematic labour market surveys and analyses, career counselling, EURES services, initiation and implementation of regional programmes and projects co-subsidized from the UE funds.

We implemented a lot of projects co-financed from the UE funds. Our active participation in local, regional, national and international initiatives supporting labour market development made us experienced and competent partner. "Labour Office 7 days a week 24 hours a day" is the first stage of the project that was implemented by Voivodeship Labour Office in Białystok. This project was co-subsidized by UE from European Social Fund. The results of a project were of 3 kinds: Telephone Contact Centre, Internet Website and Data Base.  As a result Labour Offices were accessible for their clients 7 days a week for 24 hours a day. Thanks to those elements unemployed people, job seekers and employers can call, get into the website and check or ask about any information they need.

Now we are implementing the project called "The Green Line - Centre of Consultative Agency of Public Employment Services". However, this new alteration of the pilot project is follow-up of the previous project.
